Synthetic Organic Chemistry
Work in our laboratory is focused on developing new and elegant catalytic reactions that are highly efficient and of broad utility. We are interested in the application of these novel reactions to the build various organic molecules for their potential application in medicinal chemistry as well as in materials science. The salient features of our current research activities are: Gold Catalysis, Oxidative Gold Catalysis, Enantioselective Gold Catalysis, Merged Gold/Organocatalysis, Merged Gold/Photoredox catalysis etc.
