  • Assistant Professor,Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, India.
  • Post-Doctoral California Institute of Technology, USA. Advisor: Shu-ou Shan
  • Ph. D. (2008),Yale University, USA. Advisor: Andrew D. Hamilton
  • M.S. (2003),Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Advisor: T. N. Guru Row
  • B.Sc.(Honors) (2000),University of Calcutta.
  • Using a combination of organic chemistry and molecular biology techniques, our research will be focused in the following areas:
  • Exploiting protein biosynthesis machinery for non-natural applications using stop codon reassignment.
  • Biophysical and biochemical assays for studying protein-protein and protein-ligand binding with a strong emphasis on fluorescence.
  • High-throughput and rational design methods to inhibit protein-protein interactions, primarily aimed at identifying novel antibacterial targets.
